Konami Digital Entertainment Limited(이하 KONAMI)는 스토리 중심의 어드벤처 플랫포머 Darwin’s Paradox!가 4월 2일 PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2, Epic Games Store, Steam®에서 출시될 예정이며, 오늘부터 사전 예약이 시작된다고 발표했다.프랑스의 인디 개발사 ZDT Studio와의 협업으로 제작된 Darwin’s Paradox!는 위장 능력과 흡착 촉수를 활용한 이동, 위험한 포식자와 각종 위협을 교란하는 잉크 슈터를 자연스럽게 갖춘 교활한 두족류 ‘Darwin’이 되어, 플레이어가 본능을 일깨우는 모험을 경험하도록 초대한다.

사전 예약 구매자에게는 본편에서 사용할 수 있는 Darwin 전용 “Psyched” 스킨과 “Dotted” 스킨이 보너스 아이템으로 제공된다.

Darwin’s Paradox!에서 플레이어는 문어의 능력을 활용해 도전적인 플랫포밍 스테이지를 돌파하며, 바다로 돌아가기 위한 거칠고도 자유로운 여정을 떠나게 된다. 본 작품은 하이엔드 애니메이션 영화에서 영감을 받은 비주얼 스타일과 혁신적인 게임플레이를 결합해, 플레이어에게 독창적인 경험을 선사한다.

Darwin’s Paradox!의 새로운 플레이어블 데모가 오늘 Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2, 그리고 Epic Games Store 및 Steam®을 통한 PC에서 공개되어, 정식 출시 전에 게임의 일부를 직접 체험할 수 있다.PlayStation®5용 데모는 2월 14일 공개 예정???이다.

이번 데모에는 KONAMI의 잘 알려진 잠입 전술과 스텔스 액션에 대한 은근한 오마주가 담겨 있으며, 데모의 일부 구간에서는 Darwin 캐릭터가 전용 코스메틱 ‘Snake’ 스킨을 착용한 모습도 확인할 수 있다. 해당 스킨은 본편 게임에서 플레이어가 발견할 수 있는 이스터 에그로 추가될 예정이다.

플레이어는 4월 2일 정식 출시를 앞두고 지금 바로 데모를 다운로드하고, 본편 게임을 사전 예약할 수 있다.
