Konami Digital Entertainment Limited(이하 KONAMI)는 PlayStation®5용으로 개발 중인 완전 신작 RPG Rev. NOiR를 Sony Interactive Entertainment의 State of Play 방송을 통해 최초 공개했다고 발표했다. 이번 방송에서는 티저 트레일러가 공개되었으며, 게임의 세계관과 분위기를 엿볼 수 있는 티저 웹사이트도 함께 오픈되었다.

죽음에 이르는 ‘광락(光落)’이라 불리는 자연 현상이 세계를 뒤덮은 가운데, 기억을 잃은 한 소년은 특별한 소녀를 만나게 된다.두 사람은 이 현상을 멈추기 위해 여행을 떠나며, 그것이 세계를 구하고 그녀를 구할 것이라 믿는다.
이는 신이 내린 운명인가, 아니면 인간의 의지에서 비롯된 힘인가.그들의 여정은 결국 세계를 뒤흔들게 된다.
