Pause the game
Under the Pause tab, goto settings
Then under CONTROLLER, choose BUTTON MAPS
When in the screen with the controller and the assigned controls for the buttons, you'll see on the bottom left "Switch to Alternative Controls" with the Square button next to it. When you press square it'll change the control scheme.
Sadly the only difference between the two control schemes is the use of the R1 and Circle Button. You'll simply be swapping the functionality of those two buttons.
Little known fact, you can further edit your PS4 controller by going into your PS4 Home Screen, then going to settings, choosing ACCESSIBILIITY, and go down to Button Assignments so you can freely customize your PS4 controller.
